On Sunday 17 June our cadets joined forces with 2311 (Glenrothes) Sqn to assist with the Glenrothes Road Running Festival.
This weekend nine of our cadets successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Assessed Expedition in the Pentland Hills. Also being assessed were cadets from 297, 1145, 1232 and 2450 Squadrons.
Friday 08 June saw a number of cadets receive badges following a successful Easter Training Camp season.

3x Certificates of Appreciation to CWO Greenall, FS Graham and FS Hunking who acted as Directing Staff during the Leuchars Training Camp.

A few presentations made recently with Cdt Jack Tweddle achieving his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Cpl Joe Hayes receiving his Senior Cadet badge and Cadets Choudhary and Swanepoel receiving their First Class Cadet badges.
Over the weekend our two new staff members CI McGrath and CI Ross together with senior cadets FS Graham and Sgt Buchan attended an Introduction to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (IttDofE) Course delivered by the Wing DofE Team at our HQ. This course provided them with all the information needed to become a unit DofE Leader, we look forward to seeing them get stuck in assisting CI Mitchell with Award delivery at 859 this year.
Today our cadets were at Murrayfield Stadium acting as Flag Bearers during the Scotland v France Six Nations Match. #AsOne
