Broomhall House, Charleston
Here are some photos from last Saturday when cadets from Dalgety Bay and Falkirk squadrons provided support at this 'invitation only' car show held in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund.
Cadets were involved in gate patrols, car marshalling, flight-line control, guided tours and promoting the RAF Air Cadets. Several million pounds worth of cars were on display having earlier driven in procession over the Forth Road Bridge to Broomhall House.
Guests, cadets and staff were treated to remote control aircraft flying and static displays and a fly-past of a full-size Gypsy Moth, together with guided tours of Broomhall House by Lord Bruce himself.
In return for their assistance, cadets were able to meet and chat with several veterans, some of which had been shot-down and held prisoner during the second world war. Time was also available to chat with some of the car owners....and the rain stayed off!
