The Regional selectors were also suitably impressed by his performance as Jamie has now been called up to represent Scotland & Northern Ireland in the Inter Region Competition. This will be held at RAF Cranwell in April. Well done Jamie! On Saturday 5th April our cadets working towards their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award headed to the Lomond Hills to practice basic navigation skills using map and compass. During the training exercise each cadet successfully navigated several legs of the route, using various navigation techniques, all under the expert eye of the Wing Adventure Training Officer - Flt Lt Campbell. This is in preparation for their 2 day practice expedition which will take place in Glen Devon on 19/20 April. |
